Very Very Very long time o see! I'm baaaaack!!!
Hey all! I was bored today and saw somebody's post to a blog on the guide dog network group I'm apart of on facebook, and realized that I hadn't posted on here in awhile, although I've written. Yeah! Almost two years would be considered awhile! Gosh!
Hmmm... An overview of the past two years... I started dating randy in April of 2012, who I met through Mike and Sara, and he stuck with me through the horrid methods experience I had, (not a good teacher placement), and student teaching, (which was with Mr. P from earlier posts, and was really good.) Now we are engaged! :d We're getting married September 27, 2013! I have my dress picked out and my bridesmaids dresses almost decided on. We're getting married in my home church and having the reception in a reception hall at our fairgrounds. I'm so excited! :D
Also, I have a job now, not teaching as I'm not sure I want to do that at least right now, but as an Office Mannager at a company working with adults with cognitive disabilities. I'm living with the owner of the small company now, they thought I'd be a great fit for the company and knew my dad from school, so decided to help me out so I could find a place. They truly love having me work for them and say that the company feels complete like it hasn't for two years since the previous lady that did my job died of cancer, (R.I.P for her), so I know it isn't just because they knew my dad that they hired me haha! :)
I'm moving in to my own apartment December 9th, and am really excited about it! It's unfurnished, but I have some furnature already from family and Jim and shelly,, who I'm living with now, have some they don't use that they said I could, so that's great!
I like my job, although it can get boring sometimes when people are not coming in and I'm caught up on what I have to do lol! Other than that it's great, and I get to talk to clients which is fun. You'd think I had more to write... Oh! i'm still working Bilko, and he's doing great. He has some fatty sists on his sides, but the vet said they aren't cancerous so he's fine. Boy did I freak out the first time I found one though! Randy was there, and his brother's dog had some, so he calmed me down. Oh, we had to put Hope down in March. She was our standard poodle. She was having seizures and the medication was making her in to a different dog, and her organs were shutting down. The meds weren't helping much either. It was really sad, but she's with Jesus now...
Mom and dad got snickers, a Golden doodle, (golden retriever/poodle cross), in april and she's a bundle of energy. she was only 8 weeks when they got her. She loves Bilko, and Bilko likes her, but not the pulling on his ears andconstantly wanting him to play part. He'll be seven in December! How'd that happen!
Oh! I went to a Cincinnati Goalball group last night, a friend I know through aCBo plays and told me about it, and I absolutely love it! Shelly went with me and promptly decided we had to get a ball for OTS and play as a staff. lol! I'm sore now since I haven't played in forever, so will probably take a hot bath tonight lol. I did well though, scored the winning point in overtime for the game where the teams were ACB (mine), vs. NFB, so that was awesome. I'm planning on going whenever I can, hopefully every week, when it starts again in January. It's $25 for ten or so weeks, so pretty good. They have two weeks in December, but I hope I can convince them to let me pay half of it or something since I'm joining late.
I know there's things I've forgotten to say in here, but I'm going to post this now and take Billy out. Hopefully somebody still reads this!!!!

Happy 2012!!! and an update on the goings on here.
Well, this past two weeks has been great. I found out I got a 4.0 this past semester! :D I was sooo surprised! I thought I’d at least have one or 2 B’s!!!
Now that I’m on break, I've not really done much except read, go to Grandma's and bake cake and cookies and help with chili, (yum!), and I went bowling with Dee and her boyfriend Thursday night. It was really fun. My games kinda sucked, (93, 82, 86), but it could have been worse. We walked around Walmart for awhile afterward and looked at stuff and talked. Sara, Mike, and our friend Ben came over last week and we hung out for a few hours and played Wii and ate AJ's pizza.
Christmas was nice. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's instead of great Grandma's for once for the entire Christmas eve, (usually we split it between the two houses even though its the same side of the family), and great Grandma didn't come, because she said she was not feeling well. I got a nice gold pearl necklace/bracelet set that can go with about anything dressy, so that was cool. I also got some nice tops, (one purple and one grey), that were dressy, so that was good since I need more dress clothes for teaching. Even though I won't be in the classroom this semester really, I'll need them for methods/student-teaching next year. I got some bath-and-bodyworks Sea-Island Cotton spray and lotion. I have so much bath-and-body its crazy, but at least I have variety lol. I got a gift card to the mall, and so my cousins and I went shopping on Monday, and I got some good deals. I even got Bilko a treat dispenser that is a soccer ball like ball with a hole in it for treats/food. He loves rolling it around and shaking it to get the food it, but he gives up after awhile, so I help him, (when I can find the ball.)
Christmas day we got up and all the grandparents came over as usual to see us open gifts. (More clothes, ITunes card, a new pare of boots that didn't fit so we're going to try to return them, an Ohio State pillow (from Walker.) We went to grandma and grandpa's at noon for Christmas dinner, and had a very... awkward conversation that consisted of my grandpa's racist jokes. It was horrible, and my grandpa's not a bad guy, and he's nice, but... I ended up throwing a grape at him from my apple salad. We all just hung out and talked until it was time to go to grandma's at 3. We had a silly gift-exchange in which I got one of the gifts we brought (and I really didn't want), and my dad got a pop-it extreme with an optional "shake-it" setting. We traded. I then set around and talked to my cousin and one of their girlfriends for awhile. That was interesting, just because I've never really talked to this girl before since I just met her at Thanksgiving.
Its now Newyears Eve Day, and Walker was up half the night puking last night, and mom was up with him. I didn't feel like going to my parents room to sleep, (I was half asleep and comfortable), so I was awake too off-and-on. He was going to have a party tonight, but I'm not sure if that's happening or not now. I'm just hanging out at home tonight with my family. Nobody invited me anywhere, and I that's fine. Usually I'm the one that has the party, but not this year, since the usual guests (except me and one friend), are doing other things in other towns. I keep telling myself that I'm going to work out more this year, and I mean to do it. Honestly, though, anything more than a few times would be an improvement. I get so busy with school and such that it never seems to happen.
Well, now that it's actually 2012 and I'm posting, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Bilko's Bloggings--I'm baaaack!
Hey all! So I know mom posted earlier about me throwing up, but I'm fine now. Honestly, she wouldn't have freaked out so much if Sara hadn't said it was white foam. I ate my dinner at 7:30 instead of 5:30 (torcher! Let me tell you!) just in case, but I've been fine ever since. I just drank my water to fast I think. Mom asked if there was any way that there could be laundry sope (what's that?) in my water bowl, but everybody pours it over the big, loud, machine thing. --Bilko, that's a washer.-- Thanks mom. Anyway. I feel fine now. So, I thought I was in the mood to write, but I'm tired, so think I'll go to bed. Here's what I posted on FB earlier: So, yesterday mom and I went to the big place with all the food and sometimes loud music, (what's it called? I don't remember), and there were lots of people and I got to see my friend Tyler! Mom talked to some groups too. Boring! I slept. Now waiting for mom to take me out. Lazy day today for me.
Pretty much sums up my weekend, other than going to this restaurant with mom and our other people we live with and a bunch of people I'd met a couple of times before. I think they were the girl called Sara's family. Mom tried to put me under her chair but somehow i got stepped on or pinched by the chair and I didn't like that. I started yelping and stood up. Then mom found that there was a bench near her I could lay under and she could still have the leash since it was where Shelby was sitting right next to her. Shelby had to jump over me though. haha!
Going to bed now, but maybe write later,
Bilko

Bilko, vomiting, fome, what? :(
Ok so hopefullyI'll get another post in today, but I had to put this down. Bilko was fine this morning for breakfast, we went to church, and came home. I left him in my room when we went out to eat, because it was a chinese Bufegh and I didn’t want to bring him. I came home, let him out of my room and played a little tug (he only tugged for a minute), and petted him for awhile. I took him outside, but he first drank all the water in his bowl. I’m not sure how much was in it still, but he drank for awhile. I took him out and he Peaed. I came in and a few minutes later (while I was in the “.bathroom), my roommates said he was gagging so they took him outside. Apparently, he threw up white fome and no food. Could he have digested it already? Could it have been because of drinking so much water so fast? I think I may try to call Chuck if he’s in and see what he says. The food/water bowls are near the washer/dryer, but not where they would have sope and stuff. I’m really upset right now, mostly because I don’t know where that came from. I’m also mad at my roommates, because one of them insinuated that it was my falt. This person said “No offense, but it’s your responsibility to watch him.” what the heck! How the hekk am I supposed to be watching him when I’m not here? I’m in my room right now, although we have a friend (mostly of Sara and Mike’s), over, but I really hate the show they’re watching and don’t want to be around people right now. I think I’m going to post this and try to find something to take my mind off of everything. God, please let him be alright! My mind is filled with panicked fog right now, and I won’t be surprised if I either blow up at someone or start crying… or puke. I pray I’m overreacting, but you never know. God, please help him to really be alright! God please!!!!!

P-Burg Day 3
From Wednesday, October 12, 2011
Today Dena, (the girl I carpull with), and I got to school and were told that we had to go to her teachers room and wait, because the teachers were having a meeting in Mr. P's room. We went in and there were "benderoos," I knew them as "wikki sticks" when I was younger, out. We started making our names with them, and mine looked better than hers lol. I'd been using them for years and she'd never seen them before this year so...
A couple of her students came in and they were facinated with Bilko. The one little girl wouldn't stop staring in his eyes. It was funny, yet annoying. Technically we wern't supposed to be alone with students, but whatever. I got to Mr. P's room just as my first group of third graders came in, so we talked until Mr. P was ready. He had to put the story on the flash drive for me, and he has a new student with a para today, so it was all crazy. He ended up having the boys do a word search on the computer while he did other stuff. I just sat and monitored them to make sure they didn't fight. Then I read a story with the first graders. I then worked with a boy named Lukas, who has autism, on reading, and then he did this matching game with his sight words from the story. It was cool, because Mr. P asked him if he was done, and he said, (for the first time ever), "still playing." We were both really excited that he said that, since it had never happened before. I worked with Mason on reading a book on a park in Africa and all the animals these people saw there. It was very difficult for him, because every one word is a struggle. He has to sound out each word, and so he doesn't remember what he read at the beginning of the sentence, let alone the story. Mr. P then showed him this game from a+math.com that is a multiplication game. It was a dungeon, and you had to answer problems to get through it. It was really cool.
There was a new girl today. She has autism, and is in third grade. She liked Bilko, but when he was on his back, she kept trying to pet the wrong part of him if you get my drift. LOL It made us all laugh.
I hope you all are enjoying my teaching experiences. I know I am! :)

Bilko's bloggings-- itchy itchy!
Hi all, mom finally gave me the computer again!
So she wrote earlier about my alergies--I think that's what they're called-- that make me all itchy and I hate it. I have white spots where my fur is thin from my scratching. I hate it! Mom's been giving me these pill-things that she sneaks in to my food, but since I can't taste them since I'm so focused on the food I don't care, and they help, but they make me really thirsty and have to do my business a lot. I really don't like that, because I know it's making things harder for mom since she has to take me out a lot more often. She called the Vet here in the town where we go to school, and they said the only thing they can do is give me the pills or a shot that would do the same thing. Mom's not sure she believes them, but she doesn't know what else to do. She's been giving me half the pill though, so it's not near as bad as it could be.
Any ideas anybody? I hate being itchy and hate being a burden to my mom! She says I'm not and she doesn't mind doing it because she loves me, but I can't help feeling bad! I love you mommy! You let me off harness between classes after you typed on the computer and everybody else scratched with the stick-things and nobody talked for a long time, and I had fun!
Well, mom needs the computer back, so talk to yall later!

Bilko update
Ok, so I still have another week to post of placement at P-Burg, but I wanted to get this in first.
Bilko has been guiding well and having fun, but he's been having trouble with alergies. I really first noticed it freshman year of college, when he was scratching a lot, and my Aunt noticed he had bumps on his stomach and private area.
I took him to the vet, and the gave him meds, but I am not sure if they were steroids or not. He was on them for awhile (don't remember how long), and then it went away. I didn't have any trouble last summer, but this year he started scratching again. I took him to the vet in BG, and he gave me steroids to try and stop the itching. I put him on two pills a day for a week, then one a day, then one every other day, but (instead of putting him on half a pill every other day for a week like he suggested( I stopped giving them to him to see how he'd do. It was ok for awhile, but he's been scratching a lot again lately, and there's bumps on his legs and missing patches of fur. I didn't want to take him back to the vet, so I started him on half a pill again once a day. It's helped, but I hate the steroids, because he gets really lathargic and has to "do his business" a lot. I don't have time to take him out every twenty minutes, but the half pill has been doing pretty good, and he does have to Pea more, but that's not near as bad as it was over the summer. Today he's been extremely lazy--like not wanting to get up to go to church lazy-- but I can't decide if he's just really tired from yesterday working around the wedding shops for Sarah's wedding dress (more on that later I hope), or if something's really wrong. I'm calling the vet tomorrow to see what they can do about the scratching other than the steroids, and hopefully they can get me in. I'll be taking BG Transit, since all of my roommates that can drive are in classes all day tomorrow.
God, please let Bilko just be tired from the shopping and staying up while we played rock band until 1 in the morning and not him really sick.
Well, he hasn't thrown up (except for last week when he ate tampons) so I'm taking that as a good sign. I'm going to feed him now, so if he eats ok that's another good sign.
If anyone's actually reading this, please pray or send good thoughts/vibes or whatever that I'm just paranoid.
Thanks :)

Don't ya just Love it when?...
Don’t ya just love it when…?
You find a dollar in the pocket of the jeans you wore last week? How about when you snag the last cookie? What about when you randomly run in to someone you’ve never met before and find out you have tons in common? I do! That’s what just happened to me a few minutes ago. I was relieving Bilko, (auspicious start, I know), and someone pulled up in a car. He just stopped and stared at it. I kept trying to get him to do his business, but he just kept staring. I heard someone get out and start walking up to the door. I said something like “hi.” And something about Bilko staring at her. Then I was like Bilko seriously do your business so we can go out of the rain! The girl laughed and Bilko wouldn’t even begin to circle like he is supposed to, so I gave up and asked the girl if she wanted to pet him. We walked in to the building to get out of the rain, and she started petting him and he loved it and was wagging his tail. We started talking and I found out she lives on third floor above me. I said something like “O, third floor, you don’t have to deal with people being noisy above you. Sometimes I think the people above us sound like elephants when it’s really quiet.” We laughed and she said that she is one of those people, because she’s trying to learn drums, and is practicing her base peddle. She said she was looking for someone to teach her, and since I’d played for 8 years, I said “I can teach you!” She agreed and we started talking about music. Turns out she plays violin, and I’ve been wanting to learn, so we’re going to swap lessons. Hopefully we are going to meet up this weekend and I’ll teach her some basics. I mentioned that (since we were thinking of meeting Sunday), “We’re going to H2O at 11:30, you wanna come?” She declined, but I JUST MET HER! I NEVER INVITE PEOPLE I JUST MET TO CHURCH! I am sooo proud of myself right now! :D
So, I increased my self-confidence, and hopefully made a new friend, all in 20 minutes! :D (hmmm, kinda sounds like an Infomercial.)

SP--East and South
I went to East Elementary yesterday, (Thuosday), for awhile and worked with a woman I'll call Mrs. Goggles. (nickna/e a girl in my class came up with when we were younger.) I had fun helping a boy with figuring out pennies and nickles. He spoke mostly Spanish, so I greeted him and he was all smiles! It was cool. I al helped a fourth grader with multiplication and devision using fake pennies as manipulative. That was cool, because that is what we were learning how to teach before break. I then went and brought the first graders in to the hall in groups of 4, (they wanted to see Bilko and were doing reading groups), and explained to them what Bilko does for me. I had the harness on and had them read his sign, "do not pet me I am working." Then I took off the harness, made hm say sitting, and let them pet him. Mrs. Gogqles was totally amazed how well I handled that with having them read it and everything. I was thinking 'duh! what else would I do? they're first graders! They need to read.' I then talked to my mom's PE class of 3rd graders, and let them hold the harness and then let them come up in 4s to pet him before getting their shoes on.
Today I went to South Elementary and observed Mrs. Kits. She had IEP's part of the day so I got to sit through 2 of them. One the parents only spoke Spanish, and I realized how inadequate my spanish-speaking skills are. I was thinking about minoring in Spanish, but I'm not sure I will. I may try to learn on my own or something. At least enough to get by in parent-teacher conferences. I want to find spanish radio or something to listen too. I'd like to go to Spain next summer, but I don't if that will happen since I kind of want a job for the summer... The resorse room at South has a lot of kids doing lots of different subjects at once. They do tests it there, like math but the teachers aren't aloud to do more than just make sure the problems are set up right. It is interesting to see how they work with several subjects at once. they mostly give one kid a question or problem then help someone ekse than go back when the other kid is done with the question...
I really want to student-teach in Texas, especially with the crappy bill being talked about passing in Ohio. I don't know much about it except its something to do with getting rid of the teacher's union and capping pay at $34,000. That really scares me. What is this country coming to if they're running teachers out of the field? It hasn't passed quite yet but it might, and it will eventually effect everywhere! I'm horrified! how the heck can they do this? Kids NEED TO LEARN! O well, guess I can't do anything about it, so why waste time worrying? (BTW East and South are 2 schools in my town.)

So we're on the plain and almost didn't make it. So when you take a guide dog on a plain you would think you could get to a relieving area to let the dog go before they go on the flight. Well apparently Houston likes to make things complecated! We had sooo many issues coming to find a relieving area!area because nobody knew what they were talking about! the one lady sent us down to bagage where there was one and we couldn't find it because it was on the other side of a parking garage. We went to ask somebody but nobody was in information. somebody did tell us there was 1 in termonal d so we tried there after riding the stupid train for half an hour and going in huge circles because the train went weird ways... don't ask hahaha! we didn't find it in d either so went back to c and decided to go and try and get him to relieve on concrete. I should have kept up on making him do that. we tried to get him to go in front of a cop car, (nobody was in it), but he wouldn't and we had half an hour till boarding. Aunt L, (teachers sister that told us all to call her Aunt), ended up driving us to a patch of grass and he finally went! We then had to rush through security and they scanned my braillenote twice for some reason, but we made it to the plain with time to use the restroom before boarding. few! Talk about stressful!

Winter storm warning (last week)
Woulda posted this earlier but forgot...
From February 1, 2011
Snow snow go away... or increase a ton so classes are canceled!
Today SUCKS so far! I got up and made a beggal, but it was so hard I couldn't cut it so had my roommate do it. Then it was rock hard to eat as well. Not cool! I had music education today at 8:30 am, so since Sara and Mike were going anyway to drop Sara off at her placement, so I got a ride with them. Mike dropped me off by this intersection near the building, but it was in the parking lott and I got confused as to where the building was. Also, I forgot my gloves in Mikes car. My friend let me borrow hers since I had to use my hands to work Bilko, then Mike brought them into me after my 11:20 class (Spanish) ended, but he could only find one glove! I also got disoriented walking to the math science building, and had to ask to make sure where I was because of the snow. There are like 5 sidewalks that lead in the same direction, so Bilko lead me on the most cleared one and theyre so close together I get confused especially in snow. I ended up realizing where I was and finding the class even though I'd only been in that door once before. Bilko recognized where we were and tried to take me to our class from last semester, so I praised him and found the way to the class.
So the snow ended up not being that bad, but it was horribly icy and both my classes were canceled Wednesday which was good since I wasn't going anyway haha!

Bilko's bloggings-- noooo! :(
Hi guys! So mom's letting me use the computer again, since her most pressing assignment isn't due till next thursday. Yesterday was weird. Mom's been getting up really early the past few weeks, and playing on the black talking thing and the thing with bumps, BN I guess she calls it. Yesterday she got up early and did that, then got her food as usual and fed me, but she got to talking to Mike and Sara and we didn't get to go on the van thing that takes us to the place with lots of buildings and people like usual. We got a ride from Mike since he was taking Sara to her "Preschool Practicum." Mom forgot to put the stuff on my feet that protects them from the salty stuff on the sidewalks when there's the cold white stuff on the ground. When we got home, she usually just wipes my feet off and lets me run around, but yesterday she kept me on leash and lead me in to the bathroom. I usually am not aloud in there since she thinks I'll get in to the trash (which I did once last week, but I just wanted paper!) I was like what heck? Then she took my leash off and started the tub! What? Mom! what are you doing? She took off her human fur since she said she didn't want to get it wet, well I didn't want to get mine wet either! She then tried to get me to climb in to the tub for food. What do you think I am, woman! crazy? She then tried to coax me in by standing in the tub, but I ran toward the bathroom door. She finally had to pick me up and put me in! I was sooo mad! I just stood there and she gave me food for being so good and I stood there until she told me I could come out which seemed to take forever! I was so stressed out that I threw up the food she gave me when I was out in the living room, and I ate it again before mom could know but she came in and found me so I grosed her out haha! She did give me a treat after getting in the tub too when I got out though. Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I'm tired from running all over campus and trying to comfort mom when her BrailleNote broke. I just hope mom doesn't make me get in the tub anytime soon! As my other mom from a looong time ago said on facebook, I don't like baths!

Birthday :) bestest!
So I'm officially not a teenager anymore! :)) Actually, doesn't feel any different. Lol.
I was woken up this morning by my roommates (Sara and Mike at least, Meg was still sleeping I think) coming in and singing "Happy Birthday," with synimon rolls and a candle in one of them. Yum Yum! That was goood breakfast!
I just hung out and looked on FB for awhile and read all the comments on my wall (I think like 115 as of a few minutes ago! Wow!) Then my parents came around 1, and we went out to this Mexican restaurant called "Don Pablos" and I was adventuress and tried fish tacos. Weird! My brother said I should try them, and I didn't know what to get, so I did and didn't like them. The rice and beans were good, but I really didn't care for the tacos and the enchilada I tried from my grandma. My mom made this giant cookie, and they sang happy birthday to me and we ate the cookie in the restaurant. Then they gave me gifts. I got a new pair of earrings from mom and da. Diamonds that I can wear all the time. I got this keychain beed thing from my grandma (mom's mom) and she picked beeds like hearts and a lock and key thing. I think they are like pandora, but not, maybe they are, I don't know. I got movies from mom and dad, and an ITunes gift card from the boys, Walker and Brennan, and a starbucks gift card! :D :D
and Money and singing cards (one from grandma and grandpa, and one from mom and dad),
When we got home, Walker wanted to say hi to Billy, (who kept licking the floor every now and again in the restaurant, but he was probably getting reeeally bored), so he took him to the bathroom for me, and I went inside. I smelled cake when I walked in to the hallway of our building, and when I opened the door... "Surprise!" There were tons of my friends! I totally wasn't expecting it! well, I was kinda suspicious, because Mike mentioned Lasagna by accident earlier, and the cake smell... It was awesome! :)
We had fun hanging out and playing scrabble, (me Brook, Kaitie, Jennie), maybe someone else but I can't think of who it was for the life of me! and it was sweet because Jenifer gave me Chocolate truffels and Trisha a stargbucks giftcard! Number two! :D Can you tell I like starbucks? lol
I did hear from Nick. Yesterday he told me his great grandpa died yesterday, and so I called and talked to him for awhile. It was kinda awkward since we hadn't talked in over a week, and I think it was weighing on us both that we wern't dating anymore but it was nice to talk to him again. He then texted me happy birthday and I texted thanks and we texted for a few minutes. It was good to hear from him. I did wish he was hear for the party, but I mannaged not to dwell on it, and overall it was an amazing birthday! :D Much more good than sad :D.
I love my friends!

Kong air squeaker football
So, I got Bilko the air kong squeaker football from dogsupplies.com
It came last week, but nobody told me I had a package notice and had to pick it up from the front office until a few days ago, and I never got a chance to go get it till today. I got it and opened it, and Bilko took it but he wasn't that interested at first, until I threw it for him! He ran and grabbed and started charging around our apartment! It was sooo funny! I recorded a sound file of him, but I don't know how to upload it to here. Help Please? If you guys wanna hear him that is...

Frogger with Chuck
I just got done with a meeting with my GDB field rep, Chuck. He came down to help me with crossing the street my apartment is on to the bus stop. I don't usually use this bus, but since I have late night classes, it would be easier to get on the "south Route" bus than call campus escort. Basically, I cross the parking lott in front of my building, and walk along the curb until I get to my usual shuddle stop that we use for the Enclave shuddle, then we turn left from the bus stop (its at our back then we do this) then he finds this curb, its kind of rounded, so he rounds it to the right and when it levels out we turn and cross the parking lott again to the sidewalk on the other side. We then turn left on the sidewalk and follow it until it T's off. We turn right and find the driveway to this house near the complex, turn left in the driveway and the street slopes up so when we find that slope we stop and wait for an all-clear and cross. The sidewalk splits at the curb, so we go streight and I tell Bilko to "find the poll." We're there! It's not near as complicated as I thought it would be. :)
After that I wanted to work on rounded curbs, so Chuck drove us to downtown BG and we worked a route of them. We basically did a large rectangle, and he did amazing! Yea Bilko! That's the best work I've seen out of him in a long time! He was having fun, and really paying attention. :D There was a large lab across the street at one point that got him distracted, but I made him sit and lay down then sit again and he was fine. :)
Chuck praised how good he looks and how mature and focused he is. He also praised my handling which is always nice to hear haha!
He said that Bilko had some tarter on his teeth, but they wern't bad, and I admitted I hadn't been brushing them as regularly as I should.
I actually should be in class right now, but decided not to go since we were going to be late anyway, and I really didn't feel like trying to explain to Chuck where the building is hahaha! Besides, I only know how to get to the classroom from one door that we can't drive too, and nothing is brailled in that building. I could have asked Chuck for help, but o well... I really didn't want to go to class! lol

A Poopy Adventure
Yeah... exactly what it sounds like really...
I took Bilko out earlier, he was pawing at me trying to get me to get up. I thought he was really hungry and had to go too, so I fed him and took him out. I was totally right, because he pooped pretty much as soon as we got out there! lol
I marked it with my foot like we're supposed to, then he moved and started pooping again, so I used my other foot for that... then he moved to my other side and pooped again! Crap! I don't have 3 feet! Ok, maybe he'll stay there... nope he moved and stopped pooping thank goodness. I would have called my roommates to get one of them to come help me find the third pile, but I didn't have my phone. I heard somebody walking toward the building, so I was like, "hey, random question, but could you help me find the dog poop? He kept moving!" So this random girl helped me find it but at first she just was pointing and being like "its over there and right there." Um, duh! I'm blind!--why do sighties do that?-- anyway...
She finally told me exactly what to do and I got it. It was just really funny haha!
Um ok so I have no idea why I felt the need to share this with the wirld... It's just been a really lazy and boring day here and I wanted to write! lol

Bilko's bloggings: Hiss Hiss!
Ok, so yesterday was definitely an adventure! Mom and I decided to take a root to DSS (disability services), that we'd taken a few time's before, but never alone. We had to pass right buy where the van thing picks us up and takes us back to the place where we live, and I couldn't understand why mom wanted me to pass it, but finally I relented and kept moving. Then we crossed a parking lot entrance, and then another and went through a little passage between 2 buildings and turned left and kept going till mom told me to find the stairs and we were at the building. Yea! Go me! Awsome! Mom was excited and gave me kibble and pets and sounded really happy.
Then when we came back out and headed back we turned to soon and ended up in the wrong connecting hall thing. There's 3 buildings that are connected, and we went into the first connecting thing instead of the second. Mom told me to turn so we could go into the building and go through it, but I wanted to go back outside instead of going through the building, so she said "ok, we can do that," when I looked toward it. Well I really wish I'd just went through the building, because we were coming to these steps that I show her and then we pass them, and this hissy-spitty thing came and shot water at us! I don't like water, and mom didn't want to get wet so we quickly got out of the way of the hissy thing, and some lady asked if she could help us get by it and mom told her where we were going so the lady told us when to go and we hurried past the hissy-spitty thing and got back on track. Then I didn't want to go up this hill we needed to go up because the van that takes us home was there and the guy started talking to mom and I thought we were going to go home, but she said no and tried to make me go up the hill, and finally I went and we got back to the building we needed. Hissy-spitty thing is not fun though! We've went by them before, but haven't gotten caught before that time.
Other than that it was a good day though, especially since mom's cousin and uncle came and took us home to my friend hope and the rest of the family. Mom went to someplace and left me in my kennel at home because she thought hope and I would get into trouble. Its hope's fault! She does stupid stuff like try to get food off the counter! I am glad we got to come home for awhile though, because I like seeing everybody. We're back at the place we live at now and mom needs to do homework, so I need to post this. More later.

Bilko's bloggings-- fun weekend
September 7
So this past weekend was really fun! After mom and I got back from classes mom's grandma came! I was sooo excited to see her! I love seeing people I don't usually get to see! They pet me a lot! :) She took us in her car and they kept stopping to get yummy-smelling human food, and after driving for awhile we stopped at the lake! Its this place where we've been lots of times before, and mom got me to get in the water once. I didn't mind splashing around, but wouldn't go up past my knees. I didn't want to get that wet!
This time though, she didn't make me go in the water. I mostly got to relax for the weekend and play with this one little human that mom called Jade. I've met her before, and I really like her. She kept blowing in my face, and her air tasted good so I licked her. Sometimes she liked it, but sometimes she was like "eeeew!" I don't understand. Silly humans. I also got to see lots of people I remember vaguely from a long time again at the lake, and once mom went out on the water and left me with my grandma' (her mom), and her mom didn't make me stay on leash since she was watching me and we were on the deck. Then mom came back and called me and I came running down the steps to her and she was all happy and let me play with the other dogs a little as long as someone was watching me. She had me go back to her mom after a minute and her mom was supposed to be watching me, but she m/'ve forgot, because she went inside and left me out! I decided I wanted to explore so I went around and said hi to people, and went in the garage and some guy was petting me and then someone ratted me out and mom came and called me but I was already inside because her mom let me in. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted, and what does mom think I'm gonna do? Run away? As if! She has my food! It was a lot of fun, but I was happy to be back to the apartment with Mike and Sara and Meagan. This morning mom got up earlier than usual like we were going somewhere, but then she got all dressed up and then changed out of it to more normal clothes for her. I don't understand what that was about, but whatever. Human's are weird! Ok, so mom says we're going grocery shopping before class, so talk to yall later. Arf arf!

Ok I don't bark, Shhhh! That was for blog-readers only!)
Bilko's Bloggings-- weirdness
September 3
This morning was weird! Mom got up and went right to the black thing that talks a lot. She was on the black thing for awhile and also the little weird looking thing with bumps. Mom says that's a "braillenote"... Whatever. I'll just use BN. Then she got dressed and then fed me. She usually feeds me first. She fed me, but didn't take me out right away. She always does! She ate her breakfast first, then got everything she needed ready. I think we're going somewhere, because she put a bunch of my food in a bag, and packed her stuff too. I wonder what's going on? Then when she finally took me out it was raining! I hate rain! Then we went back inside and got her blue thing to wear. Thankfully she didn't grab the yallow thing. I hate that thing! We went to class and it was raining. Then when we came back out to go to a different class it was sunny. Yea!

sophomore year so far
Hey all,
I started college again last week, so I've been really busy, but I have some downtime before I have to feed Bilko and head to campus for my first class (I have a 6-9 every tuesday and then my learning comunity class from 9:15 to 10:30) I'm meeting one of my roommates (froommies now stands for fantastic roommies), for dinner and then going to class. I like my classes ok so far. I can get to them all right :) Yea! My new O and M instructor was so amazed that Bilko remembered the rout after only doing it once! He says he's never seen such a smart dog! Yea Billy! Show them all how smart you are! :D
I should probably figure out how to get to the library on campus... I've never really needed to go there before unless it was with friends for group work. I feel a lot more confident walking around campus this year than I did even last semester, and Bilko seems to too. Yesterday he had his first A.D.D day so far. He's been reeeally good up till then, and I don't know what made him so off, but maybe it was me being in a bad mood? Hmmm... Probably. Maybe I should work on my acting skills for him haha!
Im taking this middle Childhood Literature class that's focusing on teaching literature to kids 4th-9th grades, and I absolutely love it so far! My teacher is amazing! We found something in common the first day... we're both fans of The Hunger Games series. I was actually reading the third book (just came out last tuesday), before class and she said I should really read it. When I said I was she asked where I was and said she should be done with the book by Friday. At the rate I'm going I'll be done by tomorrow evening or thursday haha!
We have to read Among The Hidden (shadow children number 1) by tomorrow, and I started it last Wednesday since I wasn't sure how long it was and finished it thursday night. Good book. Check it out!
Ok, gonna get ready to leave.
If anyone actually reads this anymore, have a good night! :D
